The Ministry of Defense has confirmed that they have entered an application to Turre town hall to install a secret surveillance post at the top of the Sierra Cabrera, ontop of the tall peak above Cabrera.
While this was originally believed to form part of the “SIVE” network that attempts to locate pateras (boats of illegal immigrants) off the coast, ex-mayor Arturo Grima declared that this was only a cover and the post will be part of a national defense network.
No details of the installation have been released.
